mono/hiv testing

Hi
Would being diagnosed with mono affect how long it takes my body to seroconvert or show antibodies.  My last possible exposure would have been the end of september and Ive tested negative mid january and beginning of february since then but I was just wondering if mono could slow down the seroconversion process to 6 months.  Also, could I have received a false positive mono result because I am infected with HIV?  Could these two be confused on a blood test?

mono would not impact the window period.  mono does not mean you have a compromised immune system...in addition, i'm willing to bet that mono was the cause of your symptoms and HIV is clearly not it.
