.
I had a Positive Elisa and Western Blot on 11/10.
just recently I had another test for HIV test
119 days post exposure I had a Elisa that was positive and Western Blot that was negative. PCR RNA <75 not detected.
Am I 100% in the clear?
I beleive my exposure occurred on October 25th 2011 during a procedure performed....This procedure is called Intracavernous Pharmacotherapy (ICP) is where they inject vasodilators into the spongy tissue of the penis for ED. I may have been injected either by a HIV tainted syringe or that the doctor did not wear gloves when he rubbed the injection in so with a HIV tainted hand. Patient-to-patient.
Your fear is irrational. Doctors and healthcare workers do not reuse syringes and other equioment. If the doctor didn't wear gloves, that is not an HIV risk.
The place I went to didn't take my insurance...kinda shady when I think of their ads and how the treat their patients they really push this injection therapy.
My problem is I was diagnosed via elisa and western blot, then all my since tests have been negative going on 6 months now...pcr/western blots/ rapid tests, with the exception of the elisa its always been positive
And still mono like sickness so sick etc
