neuropathy

Prior poster.  Unprotected vag. sex with girl of unknown status. Super skinny and not healthy looking.
About a few months after sex with her started to get prickly feelings all over body. Now, 5-6 months afterwards still getting the fellings sporadically throughout day. Now starting to get more in feet & toes, hands and wrists, but still occasionally all over.
I was told sometime ago that this is not an early manifestation of HIV by a few on this forum as well as archives of DR. H.
I found this site and was wondering if comments could be made regegarding this message.  http://www.neuropathy.org/site/PageServer?pagename=Type_Infectious
Not trying to rebuke anyones statements but clarification would be appreciated.

Let you anxiety level drop and you won't have those symptoms. Look up anxiety.

I understand that neuropathy may not occur during the ARS stage (2-4 weeks pos texposure), but I am referring to the 2 - 2.5 month stage post exposure when viral load may be at highest due to rapid viral replication w/out the benefit of many antibodies to fight it.

And no, I have never had an EMG performed on me. Will look into it Monday.

Just been getting these burning sensations in feet, numbness & tingling in hands and legs and arms. Just worried b/c never ever had these feelings before this episode of concern.

Thanks for your reply.

Is there a reason that you didn't mention all the other reasons one can have neuropathy? There was a long list, which you probably fit in each one on the left hand side of the website.  Neuropathy, is not an early sign of HIV infection no matter what they say. Have you ever had an EMG done? Do you know how much money it cost to have and EMG done by a neurology center? Call them and get a price. People that claim to have neuropathy, like ARS, will find that when they test negative they don't have any symptoms of anything.
