oral candida

Hi, sorry to bother again....but now I also got some strange white suff on my lips, that I can wipe off (week 6).

Temp just got better in the last two days....but now this.

Looks like angular chelitis - if I wipe of the white stuff - just like shown and described here then some small cracks remain...so is this it now??? HIV2?

Angular cheilitis is characterized by cracks radiating from the angles of the mouth, often associated with small white plaques.  In the elderly, this is not an unusual lesion and may be because of anemia, loss of chewing vertical dimension, or vitamin deficiency. But it should be remembered that when it is noted in a young man, it could be the first sign of an HIV infection. Today it is recognized the most important etiologic cause is Candida albicans. However, Staphylococcus aureus may also be present in some patients.

You don't self diagnose yourself. If you think you have thrush see a doctor. Anyone can get thrush and if you would have done research you would have known it and not continue to put it all on HIV.

things like that is what got me paranoid. I had dry mouth and that the past few days and read its one of the main symptoms.

Where are you from? I rarely hear Americans use that term for going down on somebody.

How many times does one have to tell you that symptoms means nothing when it comes to HIV, HIV has NO specific symptoms. Now if you want to self indulge in pity that's fine, don't do it here for a NON RISK issue.
