oral canker sores - HIV?

by scared108, Jul 02, 2009 01:44AM
Hi, can anyone please tell me if canker sores on the tongue are a sign of HIV possibly 16 weeks after exposure or is this too late? Would any symptoms now be over?

thanks

Cancer sores are not indicative of HIV infection. However any symptoms are meaningless as a diagnostic tool for HIV infection. If you have had a possible exposure, you need to test. End of story.

You are well outside the window period, so get tested and you will know your status.

only a test can diagnose hiv.
