oral sex and me..hehe

Hi

I'm 30 years old male
Received oral sex from a girl
10 days later got body aches, running nose,sore throat,dizziness, light cough, no fever
Same time all my family in the house also got sick ( my brother the first who sick and pass to me as i thought)
Question
Am i on risk? Or just common cold cause by others?
Do i need to test?

Unless you punch someone on face and then ask her to suck you with lot of blood in her mouth, you have no risk.

Well thanks howardh.. it helps alot.. but i'm also fatigue..probably cause by anxiety..

First, HIV is rarely if ever transmitted oral to genital. There are no proved cases at all, so if it happens, it is exceedingly rare. Second, even among the most sexually active women in the US, under 1 in a thousand have HIV, so your partner is unlikely to be infected. Third, new HIV infections do not cause nasal congestion or cough, and when there are symptoms, fever is almost always present.

So the answers are:  Nope, you're not at risk. Yes, almost certainly you caught a cold, nothing more. And no, there is no reason to test for HIV, unless you need the additional reassurance of a negative test result.
