oral sex with a sex worker, what next to come

by yash101, Nov 10, 2009 03:15PM
i was in zurich.
i had oral sex with a sex worker(hiv status unknown) for maximum 30
seconds(i did it for the same duration twice).

an hour before it I had my food and a half glass of wine before this oral sex.

I also want to mention here that some time when i brush in morning,
my gums bleed( but i was not bleeding when i did this)

It has been 10 days, and I am really worried about what to do or not.
Here are the detalis about what I have been experiencing for last 10
days:
1st day was normal, i did not feel anything,
2nd day I felt a bit of irriation(uneasyness) in my throat, but no cough.
3rd day I felt very very mild irriation(may be it is just my misconception) in my gums but it was just for a day.
4th was ok.
5 th was also ok
6th and 7th days i was very worried, i felt that very mild pain in my neck, i felt the back of my head a bit heavy, it started in the morning and remain almost the whole day but it was also very mild(may be because of anxiety).
7.Every morning i wake up i do NOT feel at all my mild throat irritation (I am not sure if you call it irritation) is not there it starts around 11 o clock and i feel a very very little bearable pain.
I today had a cough also when with the pain, I am really afraid about what to do? or what is about to come, please help me.
does this symptoms mean anything,is it sore throat or is it just my worry, should i go to some doctor, for some antibiotics, or should i go for test?
it early test possible?does it cost to much?

Could you please help me?

oral sex is not a risk so THEREFORE your symptoms are not hiv related.

There have been several studies done on this subject that show no risk.

WHAT does inflamation (inflammation) in your butt have to do with oral sex?

by yash101, Nov 23, 2009 02:30PM
for around 5 second tip of my penis(protected with condom)  "just touched" her vagina...then i denied to do anything..may be inflamation (inflammation) in butt has sth do to with it..

lol...no way.

you have been assessed as not being at risk for hiv.  if you are having health problems...see your doctor...it is NOT hiv.

kindly move on as you do not have a hiv concern.

To say that oral sex poses no risk, would be an inaccurate statement. I suppose that the reason most people post in this forum is to get relief from their anxiety and that much of the resonses are posted to aid in this process, but I don't think false information should be posted. In regards to the risks of HIV infection through cunnilingus, the risks are very low, especially when compared with other forms of unprotected sex, but the opportunity to contract the infection is possible. If you have or develop a small open wound during the act and your partner is infected, you may be vulnerable. That said, know your risks and in the future, make smart decisions. In regards to HIV symptoms: stop worrying. These symptoms can also be caused by hundreds of other things, including anxiety, and as anyone will tell you, are not an indicator. Stop reading information online and get tested. The Internet is filled with accurate and inaccurate information and most health information is either too generalized or too specific to fully address your personal situation, especially when the topic is STDs—everyone experiences infection differently. If you feel the need to or cannot stop obsessing over it, meet with a psychologist or someone experienced on the topics of HIV, etc.

Very Low risk but why don't you test after three months and rest in peace?

by yash101, Dec 02, 2009 12:04PM
