oral thrush

negative at beginning of 2009. had potential exposure in march of this year with woman. Do not know her status and have no reason to believe infected but you never know.

My question is ive had oral thrush on my tongue ever since and it has not gone away. Everything i read is linked to hiv except diabetes, meds, which i dont have.

I've had 2 cbc tests done by my doctor and everything is normal. If related to hiv, would these tests be abnormal?

Any help would be appreciated.

Oral thrush is not HIV specific. Anyone can get thrush at any time and at any age.
