Symptoms usually appear in two to four weeks and go within a week or two. They appear closely together.
Symptoms are very unreliable indicators of HIV infection as there are many other more common conditions which have similar smptoms. Even to Doctors they only provide pointers. If symptoms and test results disagree believe the test results (given they are done at the right time)
An antibody test at 3 months is the only sure way to know.
I dont know, but maybe purple colour. But you can't get symptoms in 2 days...it is too early. It takes a few weeks for symptoms I heard. but not 2 days, so I dont think your symptoms have got anything to do with it...But I am worrying about a csw at the moment too!
dear few rash on lower back like small pimple and yaa my question to you is if rash comes where they appear .whole body or anywhere.how they look like
If symptoms usually appear within 2 weeks, why do they always tell you to wait 3 months then for an absolute confirmation? And who told you they usually come on within 2 weeks? I have read 4-6 weeks myself somewhere.
symptoms usually appear in 2 weeks. 2days no way. usually all at once and they should vanish in 7-10 days, as reputated doc say they do. If ARS surpasses 2 weeks and still there is sign of a week system and antibodies can not even fight that ARS. but is also sign that could be just a flu.
it's rare for ARS to stay for more than 2 weeks.
7-10 days is not accurate...it can take up to 3 months but average is about 4-6 weeks I think
As far as I remember on reading HIV symptoms of AVS (acute viral syndrome....when the virus first enters your body), a high fever is high on the list 90% I think I remember. You dont have a fever...What is this rash you are on about? What colour is it?
Also nasal congestion and coughing/sneezing and a c old have nothing to do with AVS.
thank you chilly willy .i will test after 3 months ,and yaa my symtoms came one by one .and more over my pennis was in her vigina as i saw my condom is broken i changed it same time and her vigina was dry she used jelly in next condom . please answe
Kim your symptoms came on too soon . Usually 7 to 10 days . They usually last 2 weeks to a month . Unprotected sex carries a 1 in 2000 risk . If condom came off as you were pulling out that wouldnt be a risk . You proably catching a cold . Any unprotected sex carries a risk and should be tested for . Doesent matter that she was a csw that doesent increase the risk ...Hope this helps
