For one you were not called a liar and that doesn't change that King County goes by 3 months conclusive. There are no approved test to give one a conclusive negative result earlier than 3 month. As for you getting banned you'll need to take that up with Medhelp we don't have anything to do with it.
Sorry King County Department of Health goes strictly by the 3 month guideline. Now do you want to try again?
the std health clinic here in seattle
the guy there didnt even want to give me a normal test he said i was at very very very low risk i had a nervous breakdown so he seen how stressed i was and gave me a rapid test and said it was conclusive and i didnt have to retest
What clinic did you go to?
i did ask them they said no need for retesting
Like mentioned 3 months is the universal guideline for now.
If you would have asked your testing clinic they would have told you 3 months is conclusive.
yea doctor hansfield of whatever his name is told me go get tested at 6-8 weeks conclusive man i am totally confused now he said 6-8 weeks a lot of sites say 6 months and you guys say 3 months dont get me wrong i really apreciate the info im just scared out of my mind now and dont know what to do im not sure if i even want to go back a 12 weeks and get tested the 8 week mark was hard enough when you say remote what do you mean? and i read on thebody.com most are positive by 25 days is that true? are those rapid test even accurate or are they not as sensitive so they give a lot of false negatives sorry about all the questions guys im just going CRAZY
If you wanted a conclusive test result you wasted your money. Does that mean your test is going to change at 3 months not likely but the only way to know is to get a conclusive test result at 3 months. You could have waited for 3 months and took the test once and been done with it.
If you test negative at 6/8 weeks the likelihood that will change by 12 weeks is remote. But 6/8weeks is not conclusive.
i dont understand why the doctors on here would say to go get tested at 6-8 weeks and have me waste my time and money? did i just waste 45 dollars to ask them on here? i have never ever had a flu or cold that felt the way this one did and i have have never had diaherea for two weeks straight or had these rashes or sores in my mouth if its not hiv than i dont know what else it could be everytime i look up my symptoms online hiv always pops up
If you choose the think you are +ve, we will not be able to help you. It's up to you.
But let me highlight, your symptoms are not HIV specific. HIV is diagnosed through a blood test, not through signs and symptoms
Wait for another 4 weeks and get tested. Than come back to this same thread to tell us of the outcome.....
Cheers!
8 weeks is not conclusive. A 3 month test is conclusive.
yea i understand and now i am just going to have to accept i one of those who is positive because its all adding up the timing the symptoms and how i have been feeling lately so 8 weeks is not reliable or conclusive
% of the test result does not help, because we could always be those not within the %..........
Only a 3rd month after exposure test result is reliable and conclusive.
so how likely is it that someone tests neg at 7 weeks 5 days and positive by 12?
Hi there,
6 weeks is encouraging result. But not conclusive in term of HIV test. 12 weeks is the universal guideline for now.
1) why dont you go to a dermatologist for the rash's- you should ask him for
(Clotimazole and Betamethasone) which clears up rashes fast.
2) retest after 12 weeks for (HIV) which should be April 7th which is on a Monday.
3) You should also test for Hep b and C on April 7th
4) Next time make sure you use Latex Condom but I advise you not having sex
until your 12 week tests are negative.
Take care,
AB
i have read on a lot of posts on here everyone says test at 6 weeks? what is the point of that if its not conclusive what percent of people show up positive at 6 weeks?
is the 7 weeks 5 day one not conclusive enough?
2 more weeks get a conclusive test result.
thanks again i had my test done at 7 weeks 5 days is that conclusive enough? i am now in my 10th week after exposure
Hi there,
hehehe....if you trusted your research, why are you still asking in this forum? For people to confirm you are HIV +ve.
I had my comment based on your 10 weeks negative result and the symptoms you described. Yours sound more to be like stress related and common flu.
Anyway, HIV is diagnosed through a blood test, not through signs and symptoms. Do not scare yourself with the signs and symptoms.
Cheers!
