positive elisa neg western blot

Hi everyone
I had an exposure over 3 years ago. I tested 3 times, all negative. Last year, I had another hiv test done. It came back reactive. It was then followed by a western blot, which was negative. My doctor said that it means i'm negative, but she informed me to follow up with another test. I never followed through with another test, mainly because everything I read online said it was not necessary to. I never had any other exposure. He was the only man I was ever with.
I'm about to get into a serious relationship and before I do so, I want to make sure. Can the western blot be wrong? Should i retest one more time?

thank you teak. Do you know what could have caused the elisa test to be reactive? And lastly, is the western blot a more accurate test?

You don't have HIV, and don't need any follow up tests.
