positive elisa test

I had a multiple sex partners (men and women)over the year with mostly unprotected sex. I had my ELISA test a week ago and it turned out to be positive. I am so shocked when I knew it and yet I couldnt help anything about it. I am so down but I can still manage myself to do my ADL's (Activites of Daily Living). I submitted myself for a Western Blot and PCR and the result will be availble in a week or two. How high is the probability that I can have a postive on the latter tests? I need help. Thanks.

Don't lose your hope. wait for the results of your other tests. I might suggest if you will go for another ELISA test and see the result.

Never and never have unprotected penetrative sex.
If some partner insists to make sex without condom,rather desist and send him/her to hell.

After you get the WB test and if positive you should notify the people who you have had sex with so they can be tested. And if positive never ever have sex without a condom again.

Wait for your Western blot results and I pray for you that they come back negative. In the meantime, why don't you go for a rapid HIV test with a finger prick? They are not known for giving false positives while the rapid oral tests are slightly more prone to giving false positive results. You can get the results in 20 minutes and then know what to expect while waiting for your WB blot results. I truly wish you the best of luck and you are in my prayers.
