possible eye splash 10 yrs ago

10 yrs ago I was an aid and was emptying a commode of an hiv positive woman who was on her period. When emptying the commode into the toilet there was a splash back( there was a lot of toilet paper) I never reported to health nurse just thought it was the water splashing back but now for some reason 10 yrs later I'm panicking. No symptoms or anything just guilt for not reporting it. What are my chances of being hiv positive, I've never been tested.

Thanks everyone. I haven't been stressing over this for 10 yrs, the worry would just come and go an I was ok with it.  This time though I couldn't stop thinking of it for like a week and thats when on went online to see others opinion.   Thank you again!

i think in 10 years some symptoms would have shown ... but if you are going to have mental issues with this event , i suggest speak to a doctor to help allay your fears , don`t waste time on this ... Lizzie is correct you have no need to worry over this event that happened a decade ago ...

Yes,you are OK,Hiv is not transmitted this way.Just wondering why you waited a decade to be informed about this. Please tell me you haven't been worried about this incident for that long. You can relax now and forget all about this.
