question about testing accuracy

by headshrinker555, Jun 17, 2008 03:16PM
i think that i should get tested but i am nervous about getting a positive result that is false. is it possible to get a false positive on both the western blot and the elisa? and what is the probability of getting a false positive on an antibody test?

If you get a positive result the Western Blot will be the determining test. All positive tests are confirmed with a Western Blot or equivalent test. .
