Hi. So I have two questions. I'm a little ignorant about these things, so excuse me if the questions sound naive.
1. I take Viread (tenofovir) because I was born a hepatitis "carrier." I never had problems with hepatitis, but my specialist wanted to put me on Viread to see if the viral count would respond to it. It did, and I'm virtually free of the virus, though the specialist wants me to continue the Viread until he thinks I won't produce any more of the virus. Anyway, what consequences would Viread have on a HIV
about 12 times. Each time was protected, except for two unprotected encounters with a woman that I guess was "low-risk." She was a lesbian who'd gotten out of a committed relationship with another woman. We were both heart-broken at the time, so I guess she wanted to try something new at the spur of the moment. She said I was her second male partner. She worked as a special-ed teacher, and was kind of a neat freak (she insisted we showered before having sex
(which was unprotected each time with my partners). I understand that the risk is low, maybe even non-existent, but my problem is that I'm uncircumcised and my foreskin is tight. So I'm afraid when I'm erect, and my foreskin is retracted, there are a lot of "micro-abrasions" on my skin. But I also understand that saliva doesn't really carry HIV
