No, if you were exposed that long ago the test would be conclusive for you.
My exposure was 3-4years ago.
Any chance the the HIV test not being able to pick it up after so long.
6 weeks is very encouraging but not conclusive, not everyone will be positive at 6 weeks, some people take longer up to 90 days that is 3 months. After your 3 month HIV test, that will be conclusive and accurate and you can put it to rest.
i thought the golden rule here was that 6 weeks is accurate but 3 mo is conclusive
Rapid Oral Quick is very accurate, as accurate as a blood HIV screen test. They are FDA approved, however you can't rely on a 7th week test because that is not conclusive. You need to test at 3 month, that is 90 day from your last sexual encounter, that is CONCLUSIVE! Rapid HIV test, looks for HIV1 and HIV2, it's both combined! Besides, HIV2 it's very rare here in the USA.
reliable for what? hiv 2? then whats accurate at 7 weeks? ok..so at 12/13 weeks they're only reliable for hiv 1 and 2 or just 2?
Yes, I posted a similar question, however, they're only reliable at 12/13 weeks.
