I had a rapid test done 8 weeks after possible exposure. It took 10 minutes for results. It was neg. Is this test reliable? Doc said to retest after 6 months. Is there still a possibility that I may be pos?
Thank you, again. I am so scared. My lymph nodes in armpit area are tender and have been since 6 weeks after the rape occured. I do know I was infected with Hep B. But today the joints in my hands are sore. I only hope all this is related to the hep, although one person on that forum said Hep b usually does not cause pain or tenderness in lymph nodes. I appreciate any light you may be able to shed on this subject.
