Dear teak ,
i tried to review all related answers to my questions ,but i have found quite contradictory information and that's why i am really concerned.during the last 3years i had 3 different partners from different countries.as u mentioned in all your comments i believed that hiv group n , o and p can be detected by elisa test but what i read on this site made me really worried:
http://jvi.asm.org/content/85/3/1403.full
Group P infections may not be efficiently detected by current HIV screening tests due to the absence of group P-specific reagents for antibody detection. Thus, group P infections may have been missed because of our strategy of evaluating only HIV-seropositive specimens.
what do u think of this?
