reused finger prick pen tool

hi...I am sorry for giving my 2nd question about this. cause im really worried about this. since my rapid test used reused finger prick pen tools (2/9), at my 2nd week after that (2/20) i started having some symptoms like
1 lymph nodes swollen with red color and green bean size, 1 in the back of my ear and 1 in the of my groin
2 one dot small skin rash on my palm
3. my max body temperature was 37.5 c (i din check frequently)
4 1 ulcer on my mouth
due this kinda symptoms.i decided to have lab test at (2/28) which means 19 days after my rapid test. and the result cam out negative,
4 weeks after that test around (3/9) i started have mild pharyngitis (sore throat) and ulcers(2). then at 6th weeks (3/19) i had some thing like herpes under my mouth and my neck, i doubt whether it was insect bite or herpes cause i killed tomcat which has poison. and i also had swollen gum with red color and paining in my tongue. then i went to doctor, she said it was streptococcus, but she just check it, she didnt give me swap test to make sure the cause of it. i search in internet that ulcer and mild pharyngitis are presents in ARS. my question, does it ars symptoms?
was my lab test (2/28) conclusive?
do i need to have test at 3 months after my rapid test to make sure my status?

please help me...im really afraid of this symptoms i have...thx

None of that matters, you never had a risk for HIV.

I would really recommend seeking professional help.

Thx nursegirl for your explanation about lancet. when i did my test, i did twice pricked at the same finger for the first prick.the second one it placed closer to my top finger so the tool touched my first pricked hole.  after that i saw that tool, there was blood, and when i asked him, he said that it was mine, cause he showed me the result of others which were +. from that moment i was so afraid. and tried to find out about the possibility of a tiny hole due to finger prick to get transmitted for virus.

it was a reuse finger prick pen (diabetes finger prick pen which is able to be used for more than once).

For one,  healthcare facilities do not get into the practice or reusing needles or lancets, but even if they DID, you could never get HIV from a reused lancet stick.

A lancet makes a TINY superficial break in the skin to collect a capillary blood sample.  HIV requires exposure to a copious amount of infectious fluid to warrant a risk (which wouldn't be present on the tip of a tiny lancet), not to mention, the break in the skin caused by a lancet would not be big enough, or deep enough to cause a significant enough point of entry for the virus.

Don't give it another thought.  If you're suffering from anxiety (which seems likely with this worry)...then you should seek professional help to address that.

Thx for your response OrionB. it was not a single used finger prick lancet, it was a reuse finger prick pen (diabetes finger prick pen which is able to be used for more than once). After my 3 month test, if its negative i will not think about this anymore, cause i will do test in the hospital again not NGO to make sure that everything they use is new. And i hope that all this symptoms are the effect of my anxiety.

What makes you think that the finger prick lancet was reused? Finger prick lancets available today are impossible to reuse. Once used, the device is impossible to be reused.

Your symptoms are most probably due to anxiety as are your worries. As Vance said, if you do decide to test again then your anxiety could lead you again to make the conclusion that the needle may have again been reused, hence starting off the cycle again.

You had no risk. If this is not enough please seek help in the forum that deals with anxiety.

thx vance for your response. when i did my second test i chose a lab test (well known hospital) which took amount of my blood (small bottle) cause i din want to use a reused finger prick pen tool anymore (NGO test). i shared my experience to her, and she said that dont worry about that tool as long as the needle is new, i doubt about whether it was new or not, but she confirmed me, there's no NGO in this world will use a used needle for finger prick. I felt better and tried to stay away from this anxiety, but with this kinda symptoms, im so afraid. one more question. does my symptoms looks like ARS? thx. i wanna kill my fear of HIV while waiting for my 3 month test. thx

If you think you had a risk when you had a rapid test then will you not think you had that same risk next time?

You did not have a risk
