If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
The Hiv-ARS symptom occurs between 2-6 week after exposure and last 1-2 weeks, your symptoms 2 years after unprotected sex have nothing to do with HIV, if you continue worried get a test it only takes 20 minutes and will give a whole life of peace of mind.
After having a brief encounter with a man, I have developed a rash on one side of face about 4 days after and also have a vaginal stench. however he had only went down on me and 5 seconds of unprotected intercourse. (I ended up hopping off and changing my mind of cheating)My boyfriend whom I did have sex with regularily (two weeks after the fact) now gets hot flashes...which after asking him - he has never had...we have no other symtoms. and i know the guy whom i was with has night sweats profusely however he is a big musclehead whom takes hydroxycut by the handfulls. i dont know. maybe we are hiv + - i know i have to wait 5 more months to be tested. and that is why i am asking. how auickly do these symptoms occurr?? why was i drinking and fighting with my boyfriend...i am the worst loser.
You can test at 3 months post exposure for a conclusive result not 5 or 6 months.
Symptoms CAN and usually don't at the 2-4 week mark and most or non-specific and you can never use symptoms as an indication.
You did have a risk, but if it was only 5 seconds then I have to say it was very small, but worth testing. The oral sex is not a risk.
Good luck
