scared to death

i am so scared .my brother is hiv positive and we were at a restaurant together and the waiter got our drink refills mixed up and my 10 year old daughter drank from his straw by mistake and since this incident i have been terrified and worried sick that she may have contracted hiv this way .what are the chances of this .please help me .

teak,i know you told me that my daughter wasn't at risk,but she has developed a really bad sore throat since this incident happened and i can't help but be worried . i know it is probably just me but do you think it could be hiv related at all?

She don't need to worry because HIV is not transmitted in that manner.

thanks for giving me that website address.i have been going out of my mind about this .i know the risk was probably very low but she's my child and means everything to me .

no need to be worry ,because the acid of stomach,which contain HCL is one of the most strongest acid will ruin any virus.

HIV is sexually transmitted by unprotected vaginal or anal sex.
Transmitted by mother to child
Sharing works with other IV drug users.

You know, you could have asked your brother....
