second generation elisa

i was wondering whats the chances of a 8 week negative elisa test with a 2nd genertion test i hear conflicting arguments about the time to test. I had unprotected sex about two months ago and i have been feeling every symtom of ars and i had a 4 week and a 8.5 week negative but it was with a second generation test, what are the odds of me testing positive at 3 months.

....if you had every symptoms of ARS you would of tested positive at 8 weeks! Follow up for a conclusive result at 3 months

They gave a reliable preview but a conclusive test result will be at 3 months post-exposure.

i obtained my second test which was a home access test which they stated it was 2nd gen and i need to test up to 6 months.

Now where did you read that Home Access is a second generation test and you don't fit into the category of needing to test 6 months post exposure. 3 months is conclusive like all other tests and has been since 2004.

i asked the people at home access when i got my results and they stated they use 2nd generation elisa test.  Have you ever seen someone test pos after 8 weeks ngatrive or does it matter since i used a old test.
