seeking advice/insight

Over two months ago, I gave unprotected oral sex to another man. It was a very short affair. I would say I only did it for maybe a minute, probably less. Anyways, there was no ejaculation. Looking back I'm not sure if there was any pre-cum, if so, maybe just a little. There were no open sores on his penis. Also there were no open sores in my mouth. The next day I did have a sore throat, with a little bit of phlegm build up. But that was it, and it cleared up after a week. I did not have any flu like symptoms 3-6 weeks later either. My question to you is: Would this one time risky event cause concern for HIV? aka do I need to go get tested? And secondly, can you get HIV symptoms the next day? Im pretty sure you cannot. And if not, what could they be symptoms be of? Maybe just irritation?  Anyways... Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You never had an exposure. HIV is not transmitted by oral sex.

Okay I understand. I dont want to bombard you with questions. So I will only ask one more. How come certain sites, like the cdc say that it is a risk? (Final question)

There is no debate (among experts) about the HIV risks associated with oral sex. The risk is so low that almost nobody who cares for HIV infected patients has ever had a patient believed to have been infected that way. Among experts, it's a semantic issue about using terms like "no risk" and "very low risk". There is no difference between my or Dr. Hook's use of "low risk" and other experts' "no risk".
