should i stop worrying?
Hi I had unprotected sex with a female of unknow status after this encounter i have been getting constant sores on my tongue and have two swollen lymph nodes on the left side of my neck. Also i have tested at 28 days with a blood test, days 68, 81, 90 with oraquick in home swab test, at 94 days blood test at the hospital, and another oraquick test at 8 months all negative. The reason iam having trouble believing my results is because i keep getting canker sores on my tongue and i never suffered from canker sores before this encou. Can somebody please help...
you have test result . u are hiv free man relax... u had test result overrule all the symptoms your are worried about regards to hiv
hiv is diagnosis by test not symptoms , as write on internet if you had risk and allows by those symptoms get your self test . u have your test result

epididymitis does'nt affect your HIV result nor does it give you any kind of canker sores.
You are welcome always. I generally use betn*sol that I get from the medical stores in India but generally doesnt help. It takes its own time to heal. There are ointments for oral ulcers in any medical stores which reduce the pain and help heal. I am sure it would be available in a medical store near your residence :) to add - Stress and dieting plans like starving etc also trigger canker sores
I forgot to metion i got epididymitis form this encounter idk if this changes anything

No problem. Symtoms dont decide the presence of HIV. A test detects it. Regarding Canker sores, I have 2 canker sores today and they pain like hell. Doesnt mean I have HIV. I get them due to indigesion. Some of the reasons which may trigger a Canker sore are below
-Indigestion
-Increase in body heat due to fast food containing spices,oils,pungent sauces etc
-Very citrous fruits and food
-Ill fitting dental instruments
-Accidental damage to gums while brushing the teeth
The actual reasons for canker sores are unknown. But they have been observed occuring in some cases like above.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I felt relieved after the 8 month test but a week after the test i got a canker sore on my tongue and this i what worries me because iam getting them fequently like once or twice a month and them started about a month after the encounter.
