should i worry?

should i worry?

first off thanks for everyone on this forum, seems like it helps a lot of people, as i heard from someone else about it.  While I was serving in the United States Navy, my wife left me during deployment and come to find out she had been cheating on me everytime we were deployed.  we have our HIV tested every 2 years, mine was done April 2010 and came back negative.  I was sexually active with my wife during April, and May and that was the last time i had seen her.  We had never used condoms because we were married and at the time trying for a kid.  as of 2 weeks ago I've had a rash on my thighs, mostly my left with a bit on my right, and from my own research it looks like Folliculitis.  about 9 on my left leg and 3 on my right, they are small red blotches and bumps with the biggest being 5mm in diameter, and each one had a hair in it which i pulled out.  I just read that the HIV rash isnt specific and sometimes can be Folliculitis.  I didnt think much of it when i first saw it because I'm serving in the Asian Pacific and around this time the temperatures get pretty hot, and i work out 3-5 times a week...... so i sweat quite a bit.  So i really have 2 questions, is it common for an HIV rash to look like Folliculitis?  and also since its been almost 2 months since I last was sexually active, is it to late to even get HIV rash?

Also i doubt anyone knows, but I was wondering if its possible for military to ever mix up the results from HIV blood sampling..... I trust my negative test in April but just thought since my sample is sent all the way from the Asian Pacific that it would be easy to get a mix up of some sort or maybe have them test someone else's and think its mine.

Thankyou guys for your time, and thanks for the help.

No they don't mix up the test results. 3 months is when you can obtain your conclusive test result.

yea i definatly want to get a conclusive test, thing is im still deployed and we arent going home any time soon, thats the only reason i was curious about the symptoms.... im by no means trying to diagnose myself to avoid a test, i was just wonderin if its common for the rash to look like folliculitis, and if the rash would appear 1 1/2 - 2months after exposure.
