sore throat, HIV positive???

I have been feeling terrible past 3 months and I am deeply concerned of hiv. I have a sore throat and painful aftas in my mouth like 2 months after exposure (vaginal sex,no ejaculation), I cannot swallow and I have such headaches I cannot leave the house. I have been to a hiv specialist that said I should wait 6months for a conclusive in HIV, for I am on meds for hepatitis. I have already done a test (waited 2weeks for result) and it is negative , but it was at 10weeks and I have read about window period…Do you believe I still have a chance?
I am from Slovenia and here all people look scared if i try to ask them about HIV. i god home terrified because miss doctor asked me for a recomandation from my family doctor to have a hiv test, she looked at me like she was scared not to touch her and quicly closed the door.....I am so scared. I did not know the boy , i haven't asked him about having hiv, but I also didn't tell him about me having hepatitis. i only found out a month later and I called him many times and refused to answer...
I am still very scared because I read many things here about sore throat and aftas in mouth and it is so associated with hiv....i have never had those before, i heared it is very rare and only babies have it.....

Then if you've read on Thrush, you will also know that Thrush is not HIV specific.

Thrush

This is THE MOST COMMON infection among hiv positive people. Thrush is a condition that is located in the mouth and is caused by a fungus called Candida Albicans. White patches on the walls of the mouth, gums, and on the tongue is a good indication of this fungal infection. In addition, people may have a burning sensation and an altered sense of taste. Thrush is irritating more than anything and can be easily treated with drugs such as Clotrimazole Troches and Nystatin.

Symptoms is never a way to diagnose HIV only your test will tell. 12 weeks is conclusive and I doubt your test is going to change in two weeks.

A 10 week negative test is extremely reassuring and most likely will not change. You should follow your HIV specialist's advice and test at 6 months. The odds are very much on your side. Don't pay attention to symptoms, they are never accurate. Finally, Symptoms usually happen a few weeks after exposure, not a couple of months. Just relax, you will be ok.
