sore throat and hiv

Please help.. i had unprotected vaginal sex nearly 2 yrs ago. it only lasted 15 seconds as i stopped as i had no condom, i also gave vaginal oral sex.Now about 6-7 weeks ago(nearly 2 yrs later) i got a mild red sore throat that will not clear up. i took 2 courses of antibioics and that did not help. its not that bad though, its red but not inflammed and it somtimes it feels like its gone but it never is, i get a dry tight feeling at the back of my throat that is unpleasant. i also have very mildly swollen lymph nodes behind my earlobes..i can feel them without touching them(like little ballons) but when i actually try to touch them with my fingers its quite difficult but i can feel a hardness on ones side that absent on the other.
i also noticed that on my groin i have a node that is pea sized(not sore/hard and only noticable when i go looking for it), but the corresponding node on the other side is only half its size.
i took a hiv test 10-12 weeks after any possible exposure but am stvll very worried..is this red mild sore throat that wont clear up a sign to be worried about?

Hi Teak..yes i can feel them without touching them..like an uncomfortable pressure feeling behind my earlobes and down my neck..my doctor confirmed these as ''mildly swollen nodes'' but he didnt know wht my throat wouldnt clear up, he suggested going to an ENT doc.

Does the sore throat that is assosiated with ARS come at the same time with all the other symptoms or alone? i read in one of the prevoius posts that ARS comes 2 - 4 weeks post exposure and lasts for 1 - 2 weeks ? so if it stays for more than that then its not ARS?

my test was negative at 10-12 wks. no have not had sore throat for 2 yrs!! i got it about 6-8wks ago and hasnt cleared up.i know its not ARS but was worried it could be hiv starting to advance??

Your sore throat has nothing to do with HIV.

just dont understand why my immune system cant get rid of this. anyother time i get  a sore throat it lasts 2 weeks max and is usually bacterial which this one int ..plus a sore throat is only a symptom of an underlying problem ..i know i have a viral vnfection of some sort as the swollen lymph nodes and sore throat 2gether with antibiotics not working show this, and the body usually sorts out trivial virial infestions in a week or so..dont u see a concern?
