std-hiv-anxiety

hi everybody, just want to share my experience,i am a sexually active bloke, i recently had unprotected sex and i caught CHLAMYDIA , after a week i felt itchiness discomfort and burning sensation while urinating, took 1g azithromycin and in just 3 days my discomforts gone, i was calm and relaxed after that and then i read an article about the symptoms of HIV, for two days it was stuck on my mind, and some "hiv symptoms" appeared , got sore throat for 3 day, then followed by a on and off temperature, aching joints, no rashes and swollen lymph though but i kept checking myself in the mirror, i was so paranoid so i went to a GUM clinic and done a FULL STD check, results came out today after 10 days of waiting ,, ALL CAME NEGATIVE,

i was on my GP 3 days ago and he told me that i am suffering from an ANXIETY attack, i am really amazed how ANXIETY can affect our body,

lesson learned, i will never ever do it again lol

and the best thing to know if your infected , GO TO A GUM clinic or ANY STD TESTING CENTER and have a test
dont rely on SYMPTOMS alone , it will drive you mad , insane , paranoid etc.

thanks for sharing. this is a great example of hiv testing versus endless researching of symptoms. thank you for posting this.

you are welcome, searching through internet about all those symptoms will only make you feel more sick or ill, i suffered for two weeks having that fear having been infected because on all that i read, honestly i could not even have a good sleep, i also read an article here about ANXIETY HIV and it fits what i am feeling, that was a good article as well

but still that HIV thingy was still scary for me, i was even thinking to book for an appointment to a psychologist and counselling, tell you mate i was close to the point that i am looooooosing  my plot ,
