stomach virus or hiv?

In mid March I had a brief encounter with another guy.  The encounter was relatively safe (mutual masturbation and frottage - rubbing up against one another) no oral or anal.   Four days later i came down with what seemed like a stomach virus (vomiting, diarhea and fever of 100) that last 24 hours.   I know that logically there was little risk, but i am uncomfortable with the fact that i came down with an illness/symptoms so close (4 days) to the sexual encounter.

Questions:
1. does ars show within 4 days (some info says after a week or two)
2. does ars last as short as 24 hours (some info says that symptoms last 1-2 weeks)
3. general thoughts.

I appreciate all the work/time that people contribute here.  you seem to provide both sound information as well as comfort to those (myself too) who are anxious. thanks

you were not at little risk...you were at NO risk.

1.   No, 2-4 weeks after exposure (you didn't have one)
2.   No, 1-2 weeks is correct
3.   You were never at risk from masturbation and frottage.
