swollen glands, worried about hiv

I had been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend and after sex one day, he let me feel a small hard ball (i believe it was a swollen lymph node) between his penis and thigh and said I gave him a disease (which I hadnt , being faithful in the relationship).  Later in the relationship, I noticed a small red spot on the bottom side of his penis.  It was oval shaped, smaller than a pee and it looked like there was no skin and just red flesh, kind of like a scrape.  I ended the relationship and got back with my ex. And after having sex with him he got swollen glands too, one above his penis, one right below his armpit, and one between his penis and thigh.  Soon after, I got 2 or 3 all at different times around my vagina, that came and went just like the ones on both my ex.s  for me and my boyfriend, the swollen glands were painful, and got bigger and more sore if they were touched or rubbed too much.  It's been a year, and another one of these hard balls has popped up in my boyfriends earlobe.  What could it be? Looking for educated answers only please.

See a Dr. If you have never tested for HIV I recommend you do so as well as other STD's. These symptoms are not HIV related.
