HI, I had sex with an escort 2 times in the month of oct(2009) nd nov(2009). My main concern is that in these 11 month's I have faced strange symptoms like breathing problem,ulcers in my mouth,rash on my stomach which is still present( it's in black color), bumps on my thighs(which is still present and I am having them from past 2 month's),feeling drowsy all the time,pain in my ribs,nd my skin color was changed to dark. But I haven't got any fever r flu like symptoms till now and haven't lost my weight. I got tested few day's back(i.e on oct 4th)through tridot method and the result was negative. And when I consulted my doc he told that for some people it make even more than 6 month's for antibodies to show up is that true. Recently from yesterday onwards I am having pain nd burning sensation in my left thigh. Am I safe do I really need to get tested again. Is tridot a good one in detecting HIV. Can I relay on my result. Please help me.

Hey bro, you need to state if the sex was protected or unprotected, not tht it matters much in this case.
You tested negative almost a year later, the normal 'window period' is 3 months.
Conditions tht would 'block' antibody creation include a compromised immune system, people who just had transplants and people on PEP.
NORMALLY, ARS symptoms develop within 2-4 weeks after infection.
More likely thn not you DID not contract HIV frm those two exposures.

condom protected sex=safe sex= no concern for hiv
but if you condom broke while having sex..then you need to test to find out your status..
a hiv antibody test taken 3 months post your condom break exposure will be realiable and conclusive

Forgot to ask do bumps and rashes caused by HIV takes long time like 2 month's or so to vanish or they just come nd go.
