syringe

Hey,

I went in for a routine blood sugar test in a local lab. The lab attendant changed the needle, however the syringe was not a new one. It was while drawing the blood, that I noticed and questioned the lab attendant. I was assured that all was safe since the needle was new. and that measures were taken, but was told that the syringe was not new.

It didnt seem to have any traces of blood or anything. I am a bit worried about this. Please help.
