techincal question about Oraquick advance hiv 1/2

I took an oraquick advance hiv 1-2 test and She told me to swab HALF my gum at the top going down to my cheek then the bottom part of HALF my gum.  Did this screw up the test?  I felt I swab more of my CHEEK than anything. The control line was there. But would it appear even if they was swabing my tongue.  I have read and understand that the test does not detect hiv but the presents of antibodies.  Is that saying it found some antibody but not the hiv antibody.  Should I go get retested?

In other words if I would have swab my tongue or cheek would the control line still came up. (it seem like it would have.)   I just really don't want to screw up that test.  From reading the documentation online I did not take the test right.  It showed them swabbing the full front part of the mouth. Would you re-take the test
