testing after risk

80 days ago i had a minor risk which involved dipping a one or two penetrations unprotected plus oral ( which doesnt count lol) , at 6 sex i got a negative 4th gen test determine abbot hiv 1/2 , today (80 days later from risk) i got another test(same test) and thank god again it was negative .. should i rest ease now? can i put this all behind me?? even im still with swollen glands in both neck in groin less than a cm big? TY SOOO MUCH i really appreacite all the effort from you

Hi Teak,

I also was done a Alere Determine HIV1/2 (ANTIBODIES ONLY). It's not working?

It just that confuses me qhat teak says to me and what he answered to another person in jine ( as i showed the post) he says alere is fine and conclusive and then says to me that its not fine so i dont know what to believe

Take an HIV test that is approved diagnostic.How hard is that.

Alere Determine HIV 1/2 test  is a DUO test testing for both antigen and antibodies and the 3rd generation ELISA only tests for antibodies. Both are conclusive three months post exposure.
