this is hiv

ok so over 5 months ago i had a risky exposure. whole going from vaginal to anal sex the condom broke. i am not sure how long the condom was ripped for as i only noticed after we were done.so i thought nothing of it as i felt i was protected until condom broke. so bout several days after exposure j came down with night sweats, fatigue, diareah  lymphadenopathy. i have taken various test from rapid to elisa, viral load, bdna, dna pcr, atleast 4 Naat test, i even donated blood after 4 months past exposure. All results negative. i want to believe my test results but i am concerned since the only symptom i continue to have is progressive generalized lymphadenopathy. my nodes are not swollen per say but j have shotty nodes all over my body. and weird part is that i am  more swollen nodes appearing. they also feel inflammed most of the day. Now when j look up shotty nodes online everything points to recent hiv infection. i mean it did happen after a sexual encounter. i feel like i am infected with hiv as only that could explain my current symptom. i have ruled out hiv 1 n 2 aswell as O, since current elisa tests look for antibodies to those strains. But now i am concerned bout N, P, or non B strain. I'm just certain my infection is going undiagnosed. if real can answer this isn't shotty nodes all over the body a sign of hiv infection? any advise will be useful.

your negative test result TRUMPS any and all symptoms you are having...PROVING that you do not have hiv.

Hi there. i am so happy that i came across your comment. I am 23 yr old male who had sex with a man while abroad. Approx 3 days later I had high fever, very bad pain in my joints, couldnt eat for a week, glands swolllen all over my body in particular my neck. I also had extreme tiredness. All of these symtoms lasted for around 2 weeks, however the swollen and painful glands are still there after 3 months. I have gone to the doctor who tested me for mono and HIV( 3 months after incident) but it came back negative..I had a blood test and idicated that i had monocytosis (wbc)..

Can anyone help...I was in perfect health before this incident. Also my doctor have ruled out cancer such as lymphoma and leukeamia.

Please do not say its all in my head and to move on. How can I move on with my life when my glands are swollen and tender. I belive that i am infected with some strain of HIV or that the virus structure is changing. This has been seen before a few years ago in realtion to symptoms...

is there anyone out there....!!!!

If your testing was carried out 3 months post exposure then your symptoms are not related to HIV and you are considered conclusively negative.

Symptoms are not the way to know if one has HIV. You will be positive if you had generalized swollen lymph nodes long ago. How do you know you have Lymphadenopathy? Did you doctor say that or you think it could be? You are fine. Stress causes muscle spasm. See a doctor. The human mind can play the devil.
