time period

I had an HIV test done 9 weeks post unprotected sex. My test came back negative, should I still get another test in 3 months?

9 and 14 week test... Yes, you are fine just be safe.

so any "symptoms" after a negative test at 14 weeks are all in my head. any chance this negative could be false?

yes...3 months is conclusive.

with that being said...it is HIGHLY unlikely that your negative test result will change
