i have had a insertive fellatio with a gay who is HIV positive, i cleaned my organ after that, i ejaculated. i have tested for DNA PCR. the result was negetive. this was after 30 days of exposure. iam going for elisa test now. it is 10 weeks please advice.

thanks for ur message worldworry, but some people say that DNA PCR is not a good test. and i had symptoms of fever for a day, cold for a week and dry cough for 15 days. this was after 4 weeks after exposure. please advice

You didn't have a risk and didn't need testing. You are correct PCR DNA are not diagostic tests.
