transmission through eye

by daysofthunder, Jul 02, 2009 12:49PM
Yesterday my uncle, who is an active gay male, gave me a hug, and to my dismay gave me a kiss but I tried to dodge it and his kiss landed right on my eye. This sounds stupid, but if he was hiv infected, and had an open cut on his lip, could the virus of passed through the mucous membranes in my eye?

If he has HIV...no risk.
Just on a personal note would you be concered if he was not gay?

Many straight people have HIV too, it just not something gay men get.
