unprotected but a different story.
On 10th of march I had an unprotected sex with my girl friend. We both are getting married after some time.
But now I am very much concerned that she had hiv or not. Because there was a hard breathingness causing bronchitist to me 14 days post exposure also I am getting red colored bumbs on my legs after that 10 days post exposure till 9week and 4days.
Also I am getting rash on my hands i.e on palm. I read in this forum somebody saying that he has developed rash on the palm.
Actually my rashes started 4 or 5 week i did not remember exactly but i still have that rash on my hands i.e on palm after 10 weeks post exposure. She is very emotional and therefore i can't ask her. Before me she had two boyfriend she told me . Also I am from India where Hiv is considered very bad. Therefore I can't ask her about her status. I am very much worried and want to get tested. I got it tested after 6 week which was a western blot which came negative. But I am still worried.
Please give me some details of Hiv rashes. Does it appear after 4 week and last more than 10 week post exposure as in my case. I have read that hiv rashes can appear any time and can last for any time period.
But in this forum I read that hiv rashes if appeared , would apear between 2-4 week post exposure and can last from 2 days to 2 week. Is this information definate or May change?

You have already been given the correct information about ARS rashes and you refuse to accept the facts.ARS rashes don,t last 10 weeks.

Classic ARS symptoms are very high fever,very sore throat and rashes on trunk-torso and limbs.They do appear 2 to 4 weeks post-exposure and last anywhere between 2 days to 2 weeks so your information is correct,however they don,t last up to 10 weeks so your rashes are not ARS rashes but related to some other condition.Test at 12 weeks for a conclusive result.All the best.
your "symptoms" are not indicative of infection...but symptoms, or lack thereof, do not tell one's status.
if you had unprotected sex with someone and dont know their hiv status...then you have the potential to contract not only hiv, but other stds as well.
