unprotected sex with boyfriend on ARVs

i am tired of stressing over hiv.I had sex with a lying boyfiend who was on hiv treatment.I found out after my aunt who works at a clinic. where the meds are given out told me that she recognised him from the support groups.I am devastated.I have been told that a guy on ARV's is not infectious but i dont believe it.I have also been told that a weakend virus can take long to be discovered by my immune system.
