unprotected sex
I am 38 yr white female and I had unprotected sex with a 38 yr old white middle class male. I realize it was a very stupid. He told me he had never been sick and has never had any issues but was unsure hiv status. I immediately regretted it. Day #1 I could not sleep I started to have cold sweats. i began research all the possible symptoms and stactics. i have became obsessed with researching every day. i am at day 9 and as of yesterday I stated to have skin senstivity and burning with cold intolerance kinda feels like sunburn. I notice a few scattered red bumps to buttocks but I do work at desk job and sometime get heat rash from time to time, no fever, no sore throat. I am literally worried sick. please advise. much appreciate help!
unprotected sex is a risk of hiv.but you can't get hiv with a hiv negative person.and hiv is very tough virus to transmit in single Exposure..so please stay away from internet and don't search hiv symptoms because anxiety give you all symptoms.. you can take hiv duo test at 28 days later since this exposure and result will conclusive..i am pretty sure your result will be negative...but please play safe stay safe

Everyone posts here about their ARS but so far I have never seen anyone who actually had ARS. In addition, in your case it is too early for ARS anyway so nothing is pointing or even hinting toward you having HIV.
The only way doctors determine HIV status is with the test at 28. The only thing you can do is try to find ways to keep from thinking about HIV, while waiting for 28. It is best to avoid studying your symptoms and stay off the internet while you wait for 28, because there will not be any information available except from a test.

I forgot, there is one other thing you can do.
Can you contact him now, to ask him to test and save you the 19 day wait, as long as he hasn't had unprotected vaginal or anal in the 28 days prior to his test (other than with you.) You might have to do your own test in 19 just to be sure he is truthful, but a negative now from him would help you relax.
