viral load and transmission

what does viral load have to do with transmission risk? if u detectable load can still transmit the virus, then why do they say factors that determine whether or nto someoen will get infected also is related to iral lod? also, if HIV hits the air, then immediately, is the viral load decreased? does it wekaen in the air?

Just because you are undetectable you are still infectious.

Then if your undetected you should have a much much lower risk at transmitting the virus if your risk at transmitting the virus is higher if your viral load is high, right? But from what I have heard thats not true. There is no lower risk if you are undetected. Does anyone have the correct answer for me.

why more likely if it only measures it in blood and not semen?

does viral load go down if the fluid gets exposed to the air?

The higher the viral load the more likely it is for HIV to be transmitted, it's that simple.

but how does that correlate to the amount of viral load in the semen? does the viral load die down when it hits the air?
