washing hands with someone w/ a cut

washing hands with someone w/ a cut

2 days ago I attended a party with someone and we both had fake blood on our hands. There was a bucket of water so we put our hands in there. He then said he cut his hand was washing the blood off.

I freak out and go to a sink and use soap and water to wash my hands.  I do not remember actively bleeding.

Do I run the risk for infection or is this OCD? I thought HIV doesnt survive in water.

They didn't say anything, but they did say no risk on aidsmeds.

So HIV is killed in water. I have nothing to worry about.

Think about the question you asked rationally. If people got infected that easily, the whole world would be infected. There is no way from the situation you described. There would have to be a lot of what ifs taking place to even come close. It is impossible.

Yeah you're right. Besides, HIV can't survive in water.
