water test or not?

Hi guys, i read some outlets saying to perform water test on condom after intercourse, while some say doing so may cause the condom to be damage and lead one to think the condom was defective during intercourse. I usually do water test and some website adviced against it as it exposes individual to partner's sexual fluids. So what is the right way to test if a condom worked and also is there any risked posed from me water testing condoms after sex? Thank you.

If a condom fails during sex, it fails spectacularly. There is virtually nothing left of it except the band around the base of the penis. It does NOT just get a little tear or pinhole.......it self-destructs! If you are actually able to fill it with water, it did not fail. And where did you read that filling it with water could expose you to your partners sexual fluids? If the condom failed, those sexual fluids would not still be in the condom.......they'd be in YOU. Even if you did get some of your partners fluids on you during your water test, which could only happen if the condom had not failed, that fluid would have been exposed to air and rendered inactive......and most importantly, that is simply NOT how HIV is transmitted. It must be transmitted INSIDE the human body. There is no "right" way to water test a condom because there will be no condom left to test! If you don't believe me, overfill one with water until it bursts...........see what you're left holding.

Hi ruby, i meant like the water test damaging the condom instead of intercourse and i did fill up once and the semen mixed with water and overflow but i washed my hands with dettol soap after that.
Once again, if there was enough of the condom left to fill with water, it did NOT fail. PERIOD. Any semen in the condom that overflowed and got on your hands was not only diluted by the water but it had been exposed to the air which renders it inactive. You had NO RISK.
Thank you ruby. Guess im just paranoid about condom failure. And also my partner unrolled the first condom we used and threw it away without letting me check it but he told me it didnt break. I guess he would have known if it broke. Just paranoid. So sorry to inconvenience. Thank you so much.
