what is this? worried.

around febuary of 2006 i started getting a scaly rash on the glands of my penis. there was flaking on the glands and redness around the shaft as well. it wasnt as intense as a rash, just red. i was really worried and had no clue what it was at the time because i was in a relationship of about two years prior. i did have other partners before her, but never while we were together. throughout the time my girlfriend and i were going we had unprotected sex for over a year and nothing like this has come up. i went to the health center at school and they took a sample of unrine to check me for chlamydia and gonorrhea as well as they gave me nystatin and triamcinolone cream for the rash. 2 weeks later and it came up negative and the cream worked. my girlfriend and broke up later that summer and i had unprotected sex and oral sex with a woman. about 2 months later my genitals began to itch and the redness around the shaft came back. this would occur in patterns. some days would be fine others i would wake up and my genitals would be very sweaty and very irritated. they do itch, but i think it is only from them being sweaty? this has been going on and off for about a year now and dont know what to do. sometimes redness comes for a week and then goes for a month. i have also noticed litte tiny red dots on top of my glands. nothing like pimple or anything with fluid, but this also comes and goes as well. i have no clue what to do and it is really affecting me mentally. does this sound like hpv or herpes? i still use the cream which helps mildly, but still i feel im up in the clouds and im really scared. could this be stress because i always am. i get frustrated easily. please help.

thanks...

Let me ask you a personal question here....How often do you masturbate?

It sounds like your penis might simply be reacting to a great deal of masturbation. A friend of mine who masturbates quite frequently once told me about the same exact issue with regard to small little bumps. He even had me examine his penis for him. It turned out that he was using a bottle of his mom's skin lotion to "spank it" with. Coincidently, he also found out he was allergic to this lotion. He would use the lotion and it would cause little bumps to appear, then when the lotion would dry, his penis would crack and bleed at the top.

What type of lubrication do you use? Do you even bother to use any? Have you checked the ingredients to see if you could be having an allergic reaction?

These are things you should consider.

If you are bothered by it, go see your doctor. You won't be able to clear it up sitting in front of a computer.
