worried (well)?

Hello everyone!
before i begin -- i suffer from severe OCD. so, please don't make fun of me :)

About 3 weeks ago, I was at the gym. my washcloth may have touched the bottom of my shower shoe when i was in the public shower (very clean, by the way!). Before i get in, i run the water on the hottest setting possible to "wash away the germs". After it touched my shoe, I lathered it with A LOT of soap and put the water all the way back on hot to kill the germs it came in contact with. After all of this, I had to wash my private areas (sorry TMI). I was wondering, if i could have potentially contracted HIV? I am not sexually active and I do not use drugs. I have also had a dry cough and a sore throat(for about 2 days). I am not sure if my glands are swollen (everyone else says no but i think they are). it may come from me feeling them so much! I haven't had a fever, or felt unusual.. unless I begin thinking that I have hiv.

my questions are:
1. could HIV survive in a wet, moist environment like a shower stall?
2. Am i at risk? (please be honest)
3. I am getting tested SOON ...is 3 weeks too soon after?
4. could my sore throat and dry cough be caused by anxiety?
5. Would glands be NOTICEABLY swollen???

Thank you so much for your help!
