worry about blood in saliva

Hello to all.i have a question please answer me soon ....i was talking with a men in clinic when he was talking  with me some his saliva came on my face but if his saliva came in my eyes can i infected?I had cut on my lip and face if his saliva contact my cuts can i infected?he said to me he has bleeding on his gum and that day he  had bloodshed from his gums because of cuts on his gum so it is possible that blood+saliva came in my eyes or my cuts.muoth is wet so virus can live very more than dry surface.must  i  take test?he usually shared needle i don’t  know  more about him and i dont know he is positive or no.i am worry please help me.do i need test?please tell me why.thank

Saliva contains over a dozen different enzymes and proteins that inhibits HIV transmission. You don't have an HIV concern.

thanks.but if his saliva contact with blood from his gum can saliva inactive virus?if his gum was bloody can it transmit?he said me his gum was bloody because of brush teeth.but i dont know who is he!

Saliva is not infectious. It also has properties that inhibit the virus. You did not have a risk no matter what. You do not need to test.
