i had unsafe sex with a woman on 31st march 2011 whose previouse boyfriend had gone with ****** in nov 2010. she had told me she was clean as she got tested in january. 3 days after the act i got a lesion on my penis skin which went after 3 days. on 21st may i got a day of diahorrea followed by light fever (under 100) and bad sinus attacks which i never suffered from .. on 26th may i got a sore throat and till today im not perfectly healed. i got pimples in my arms and legs and am very anxious. i tested negative to an antibody test on may 24th. am very very worried
actually im in the process of doing that ... many thanks ... the problem is that things keep cropping up and are all in the symptoms list .. but i agree .. tests are tests and symptoms are symptoms ...
You might benefit from some professional help for your phobias and high anxiety related to this matter.The fact is that you tested negative past the hiv window period which means that you don,t have hiv and that any symptoms you maybe having are related to stress not hiv.Your safe and your negative test result is proof of this.Let it go.
my god .. and now a sore throat since the past 3 days and still with a runny nose and feeling like wanting to sneeze all the time .... could it be in seroconverting NOW .. ie 4 months after risky exposure ?

i tested negative again at 16 weeks
i have this week developed a cold ... plus last night diarrhea and this morning a fever of 100 f... third time in the last 60 days

i tested negative again at 13 weeks and went on holiday. during the holiday i had a very bad feelings, sinus pressures (which i never suffered from) and on 3 days immense fatigue and tiredness. i simply cannot understand whats wrong. may i point out that the tests im doing are probably 3rd gen. need help pls

i am now exactly 3 months after exposure and been relatively unwell for over 5 weeks. i still have earaches, sinuses feeling like filling up, post nasal drip and according to my massage therapist an inflamed liver. i am freaking out as i have never been sick for longer than 5 days and was super healthy. could this be hepatitis ? am still scared of hiv too.
you would not be experiencing ars symptoms at this point...its NOT hiv related ! ! !
after 5 days of antibiotics, i am feeling slightly better bot nowhere near my usual self. i still have slight ear ache and feel things happening in my sinuses ... things i never ever felt before. yesterday i went to my massage therapist and she told me that my lymphatic system is in a mess, overwhelmed and that my liver is inflamed.... this without me telling her anything. i have lost 3 kilos ... down to 72 kilos from 75 but am eating normally... i still think about the hiv possibility since i am not past the 3 month mark yet ...and ive been unwell for 33 days now ... something ive never experiences as im a healthy athletic and active person .... can anyone pls guide...
it is HIGHLY unlikely that a negative test result at 10 weeks will change. expect a negative at the 3 month mark.

You have no choice about waiting. You should have thought about that before having unprotected sex.
the problem is that ive been having most of the symptoms and cant get it out of my head ... and cant wait till week 12 to have a conclusive test

I TESTED NEGATIVE ON 24TH - 8 WEEKS AFTER CONTACT DURING SLIGHT FEVER BUT BEFORE SORE THROAT.. HOW ACCURATE DO U THINK THIS IS ?
the only way to know one's status is by testing at the appropriate time...symptoms dont diagnose hiv.
