It does look like alopecia.
Are you under alot of stress right now? Have you had surgery in the last few months? These things may cause alopcia and once the stress is gone the hair usually grows back.
You may want to see a Dermatoligist and if they find nothing wrong see your family Dr to have your thyroid levels checked. Take care. Remar
I agree it does look like alopecia and you should see a dermatologist. However, I disagree that it's caused by stress. The cause of alopecia is unknown but it is believed to be an autoimmune disorder. See a dermatologist and check out the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF.org) for more information.
