Hair Harvesting

I have just come across somewhere that does 'Hair Harvesting' - does anyone have experience with this?

I am extremely concerned with the rising level of exploitation. It took me a long while to find somewhere I was happy with in terms of my hair system and the hair itself. Bloomsbury of London are ethical in that they have their own 'hair harvesting' service, like you previously mentioned. Would be happy to chat.

I am also concerned about how the hair is sourced, it is my priority when it comes to purchasing a hair system. What does the 'hair harvest' system entail?

Hair harvesting is a system whereby people voluntarily 'sell their hair'. This means that Bloomsbury of London are certain that the hair they use for their wigs was sourced by those willing to give their hair up, as well as receiving a profit for what they donate.
I learnt that people sell their ponytails to the company who pay them directly.
This was satisfying for me to find out as it meant that not only was the hair I was using 100% European (perfect to match my natural hair), but was also completely legitimate in its nature.

I have looked on the Bloomsbury of London website for hair harvesting, presuming it is www.hairharvest.co.uk
I am just wondering what the nature of the hair you received is like, has it been colour treated? Thanks

Yes alisonmat1, that was also the website I used to find Bloomsbury.
The hair that was used for my system was of top quality. It was cut to the length I needed (suitable for male pieces) and was not colour treated, however, the colour blended in with my natural colour perfectly.
The way in which the hair system was applied also allows my natural hair line to be seen, adding to the natural, undetectable finish.
